Concept
The command line tool loads your generated artworks, processes and uploads them to the Signum blockchain. As artist you will need to follow a tiny workflow, with only four steps, where you create and describe your collection, prepare your images and finally upload aka mint your entire collection.
The tool does not generate the arts, but uploads them to the network
The workflow to upload is broken down into 4 steps as it is depicted in the image below:
A collection in this context is a container for the NFT-arts in it. This container is being created for you.
So, once created the collections artwork the artist uses the signumart-massup tool to create a collection. This is the first of four steps/phases towards a published collection. The second phase requires the artist to edit the CSV file using MS Excel or similar tools. The CSV file describes each NFT to-be-published with name, description, attributes/traits, media file location, pricing and listing mode. Once edited, the "commit" phase validates the CSV file, and generates all necessary artifacts to upload the collection, i.e. mint the NFTs. Finally, the fourth step, the "Push" phase, mints the NFTs.
| Phase | Action | Result |
1 | CREATE | Creates (or continues) a collection | CSV Template, Collection Transaction on chain |
2 | DESCRIBE | Describe the NFTs by editing the previously generated CSV | Edited CSV File |
3 | COMMIT | Generate minting artifacts according the CSV description | Optimized Media Files and Metadata |
4 | PUSH | Uploads media files and mints NFTs | Minted NFTs on Signum blockchain |
