The **Transaction fee** is a fee that an [Account](docId\:lrjDBchMhug-tfN0wmehg) owner pays to send a [Transactions](docId\:iHoB8XfUVTpy6pv3XAsvz). 

A transaction sender can specify any amount of fee but not less than a minimum amount. The larger the fee is, the quicker the transaction will be added to the new block.

The **minimum fee** on the Signum blockchain is** 0.01 Signa.** The minimum amount of fee an [Account](docId\:lrjDBchMhug-tfN0wmehg) has to pay is given by the transaction type minimum fee multiplicator and the size of the transaction itself. ([Transaction Types](docId\:Irb1D8bDSP2b_6FZkFldL))
